Gorilla Glue

Here my work is focused on collaborating with internal departments, maintaining existing designs, modifying packaging as needed for new products, and working with vendors/suppliers to execute these designs.

Spray Adhesive

I worked on the 4 oz 4-pack store display and the 16 oz 6-pack store display. Both corrugated board displays were unique designs as they utilized a printed sheet that was adhered onto the corrugated board. I worked with Marketing to ensure that the can artwork was visible, and also worked with the Art team to make sure technical information was included.

School Glue: Liquid and Glue Sticks

This product launch contained a variety of product configurations, including 6-pack displays, 12-pack displays, 24-pack bulk boxes, and 24-pack displays.
The product launch contained a few departures from the typical hanger card and display artwork/structure. Hanger cards were usually symmetrical- for these products, the blister cards were asymmetrical. The paperboard displays contained shift from typical display artwork- the logo is typically centered. Here, the logo/structure shifted to the left.
This was a significant product launch, and involved close collaboration with domestic teams- marketing, art/design, project managers, R&D, and Sourcing- and international vendors. I also collaborated with the Engineering group that maintained product lines for the bulk 24-pack box as well as the corrugated mixed glue bottle/sticks display (last 2 images).

Hot Glue Gun

The Hot Glue Gun product required brand new displays and inserts. In addition to new sizing, this display was unique by using E-flute corrugated board.

Lutz Tools Display (prototype)

Gorilla Glue also owns the tool line, Lutz. I was tasked into finding some alternative packaging options with my corrugated supplier. We were looking to switch from using foam inserts to an all-paper product based display.

Flex Tape Carton (prototype)

For the UK launch of the Flex Tape product, I was asked into creating some conceptual options. The carton was to house the tape, show a sliver of the product, and be able to switch from being on a hanger to sitting on a shelf.

Healthy Feet Display

Gorilla Glue also owns O’Keeffe’s. There was a re-brand underway, and the Design team desired to reflect that in the display structure as well. We decided to bring down the height of the overall display, while maintaining the original structure (to minimize disruptions on the packing lines).
