As someone with a background in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelors degree- Wright State University) and Architecture (Masters degree- The Ohio State University), I have approached my packaging career with both an engineering and design mindset. My first role at Axiom favored my design mind as I worked on creating packaging concept options for a variety of clients. My next role at Gorilla Glue utilized my engineering mind, as I worked collaboratively with multiple teams to execute multiple new product launch packaging. Next, I used my packaging engineering/design experience to communicate ArtiosCAD applications to my customers at Esko. After my Esko trainer stint, I worked at Premier Press designing seeding kits and influencer packaging for the Portland, Oregon-based printing company. Currently I work as a Senior Packaging Engineer at Stanley 1913, where I collaborate with internal teams to develop inline, collab, and seasonal packaging offerings.
